Like the full-size CZ SHADOW 2, it features butter smooth trigger pull (single action 3.4 pounds; double action 10.3 pounds) and shortened reset, allowing for quick and accurate follow-up shots. It comes with a 4-inch barrel that glides quickly from holsters while still achieving impressive ballistic performance; its magazine holds 15 rounds. Not sure if that tip gets in the way. I've never fired the P01 Omega, but the trigger on the P-09 is noticeably nicer than the old P01. If you don't plan on doing any work to the gun from stock go with the Omega. iIf you want to work on the gun and get some upgrades down the road go for the standard. The general consensus is that the Omega triggers are better out of the box, but with upgrades the standard or "old school" action will be better. The standard P-01 smooths out a lot with 1k rounds fired or tons of dry firing. The Cajun upgrades for the Omega only slightly improve it, while the kits for the standard version make a big difference. The CZ 75 Compact does not have the trigger of the CZ 75B Omega, which is a much nicer trigger. The trigger pull of the CZ Compact is 11 pounds and 13.1 ounces pounds in double-action mode and 5 pounds and 4.3 ounces in single-action mode. Of course, the double-action trigger travel is long. It begins with a little free-floating take-up. ok, took the CZ Omega to the club, shot a total of 100 rounds, all new ammo, Federal 115 gr, and S&B 115 gr. the CZ shoots like a CZ, and i gotta tell you, that is a sweet trigger outta the box. after i got it home and field stripped it, i removed the decocker levers, and replaced them with the ordinary safety ones. The omega system is different than the standard p01 and has many well documented issues with the decocker walking and just falling out. I'm sure there are many omega owner without this issue but I didn't want to chance it or wonder when mine would also have this issue. Even after returning the firearms back to cz they still ha e the issue.
DA from a fully dropped hammer on my SP-01 and P-01 are tough to reach and pull without a grip change. From half stop (decocker or ride down to the stop) it’s hard but doable with my standard grip. 2075 RAMI BD is improved over the bigger versions. Cajun does have reach reduction kits so you could reduce pre travel and weight for the 75 family
CZ's optics plate system is IMO the best OEM system and better than almost all aftermarket systems. Certainly better than any aftermarket plate system available for CZs. I've detailed stripped traditional CZs, DA/SA CZs with the Omega trigger, and the P-10s. The P-10 is hands down the easiest to service by a mile.
The mag release isn’t quite a paddle like the Shadow 2, but is bigger than a standard round 1911 release. The trigger is flat-out amazing. It has a short amount of take-up before breaking cleanly at 3.5 pounds on a Lyman Digital Gauge. We get a nearly instant forced, tactile, and audible reset. It is everything you could hope for in a 1911
Introduced in 2009, the CZ P-07 was the first handgun to feature the convertible Omega trigger system. A simplification of the CZ 75’s hammer ignition method, the Omega’s trigger parts are interlocking in nature, allowing full disassembly and reassembly without the need for gunsmithing experience or tools. The best part of this system is
Unlike the CZ 75, the P-07 comes standard with a decocker/safety lever. But CZ 75 aficionados should not despair, as CZ’s Omega trigger system is at the heart of the P-07 design. This system has fewer parts compared to the CZ 75 and in turn touts a better trigger pull in both DA and single-action (SA) modes.
Life changing. it is a completely different gun, and well worth it. I did not see the need for a bushing, but the trigger pull is phenomenal. I loved it so much that I bought a standard P01 to get canonized because I did not want to over use my P01 Omega lmao. its just so awesome CZ Guns Polymer Omega Series Introduction. The CZ Omega series of semi-automatic pistols are polymer handguns that incorporate the signature design and ergonomics of the CZ brand in a high-capacity, lightweight package. These guns all feature the Omega trigger system and the ability to swap from de-cocker to safety operation. The CZ P07

The CZ Custom Shop, however, can build you one using the new Omega Trigger -- which lets you switch from safety to decocker, or vice versa. A lighter alloy frame with a safety might be the best choice for some folks. I think they call it a P-02-style gun. The P-02 is a new gun, not yet imported to the US.
